Weekly Update
GCN Family,
Life is unfair, and then we die. If that was the end of the story, it would be quite gloomy. However, we believe in something bigger. Because of Christ, death and sin and evil are not the end of the story. The end of the story is: Jesus is alive. He’s seated on the throne. His Spirit is filling us. So, we do not need to be afraid.
That’s a recap from this past Sunday as we continue to journey through the book of Esther.
It’s amazing how a book that makes no mention of God is so clearly filled with His presence. Even if God feels absent or uninvolved, we can know that this is not reality. The reality is that God is ever-present, all-powerful, and even when we can’t see it, He’s working. In fact, because of the Holy Spirit, we can confidently say that God is already at work in every situation, no matter how impossible it seems. Praise God!
Continue to pray for our Honduras Mission Team. One component of this trip involves helping Ministerio La Voz (MLV) move from their current location to their newly-purchased (and much-improved) site. Earlier this year, GCN was a part of helping MLV make this purchase! Check out this video for a tour of the new MLV location!
