Weekly Update

Hi GCN Family,

You are on a mission trip right now.

I loved hearing from our Honduras Mission Team this past Sunday. I don’t know about you, but my heart is still full! If you didn’t get a chance to hear the recap and the testimonies, you can go back and check that out. GCN’s partnership with Cocal Gracias goes back 15 years, and GCN’s heartbeat for ministry in Honduras goes back nearly 2 decades. It was not lost on me that at least 2 of this year’s team members were toddlers when GCN first began sending teams to ministries in Honduras back in 2007. This is awesome. And you know what? The best is yet to come!

A huge thanks to Pastor Kevin for his heart for mission and his leadership. A huge thanks to Annie, Oscar, Adilia, Prentiss, Pastor Karen, Tony N., Tony M., and Kim P. for being the hands and feet of Jesus – and an extension of GCN’s mission – in Puerto Cortes and Agua Caliente. I know some of you felt prompted this past Sunday to be a part of a future mission trip to Puerto Cortes. If that’s you, fill out the MISSION TRIP INTEREST FORM, and we’ll be in touch with you.

By the way, you don’t have to wait to go on a mission trip. You are already on a mission trip. It’s your daily life. And the mission field is: your home, your job, your grocery store, your family members, your next-door neighbors.

Our prayer: Holy Spirit, who are you leading me to love, today? Where are you sending me today? How can I serve people today? Amen.

Right now, we’re in the middle of Summer Kids Camp at Stewartown Resource Center! It’s been a great week so far. Pray for the kids and families who are a part of this. We are praying for transformed lives, in Jesus’ name! Pray for our GCN volunteers serving this week. Pray for Pam Taylor, the Stewartown Resource Center coordinator.

You won’t want to miss this Sunday! We’ll hear about what God has done this week at Kids Camp. Plus, Pastor Lauren will be sharing about how God is moving in the lives of students in this generation. God is so good!

Much love,

Pastor Brian
