Weekly Update

The most powerful force in the whole world for leading people into a relationship with Jesus is showing them undeserved grace. That is the heart of Jesus, from the cross, for each of us. I pray that is the heart of this church to our neighborhood.

This past Sunday, we issued a challenge: Who can you share the good news of Jesus with this week?
 
I would love to hear about it.

Our prayer this week: Holy Spirit, fill us with the love of Jesus (Romans 5:5). Give us boldness to share your good news with people this week. Amen.
 
By the way – what are you doing this Saturday night? Come out for a FREE movie night! 5:30 – 8:00pm. We’ll be watching The Forge. It’s a powerful movie about discipleship. Snacks will be sold, and all proceeds go to our students going to Nazarene Youth Conference next summer. Who can you invite to join you?

1. New to GCN or interested in learning more about what we believe and who we are? Join us for the GCN Membership Class on Sunday, October 19th. We’ll provide lunch, and then dive into our calling, our vision, our beliefs, and more. NOTE: This class is for anyone (regardless of how long you’ve been a part of GCN). Also, this class is a part of the process of becoming a member of GCN. However, there is never any obligation to join GCN as a member simply because you take the class. Sign up info is coming soon!
