Weekly Update

GCN Family,

The church is the Body of Christ. On Sunday, we looked at that miracle story from John 9. Jesus heals a man who was born blind. The real miracle came in verse 35 when Jesus came back and found that healed man. The man was healed of blindness in verse 7. But between verses 8 and 34, he is rejected everywhere: by his family, by his village, and by the “church” (the religious authorities).

Jesus coming and finding this man is a picture of what Jesus is calling us to do as the church.

The church is the Body of Christ. Are we a healthy body where healing can happen? By God’s grace, we are. May that multiply over, and over.

5. New to GCN or interested in learning more about what we believe and who we are? Join us for the GCN Membership Class on Sunday, October 19th. We’ll provide lunch, and then dive into our calling, our vision, our beliefs, and more. NOTE: This class is for anyone (regardless of how long you’ve been a part of GCN). Also, this class is a part of the process of becoming a member of GCN. However, there is never any obligation to join GCN as a member simply because you take the class. Sign up info is coming soon!
